Chapter 1461 Executive Council

The 2010 Executive Council was voted in on 1 December 2009 and is actively engaged in sustaining a viable organization that represents the McChord enlisted force.  The council has a full agenda this year with the goal of increasing membership, improving relations both within the military and civilian communities, as well as enhancing the quality of life on JBLM McChord Field, Wa.  The order and organization of executive council positions are strictly maintained.

President (C)MSgt Fay Noil	Responsibilities:  Develops chapter mission, vision, values, and goals; interfaces with division and international; manages annual plan and budget; ensures chapter activities and reports are completed and generally leads/manages chapter membership. Manages chapter membership meetings. Chapter focal point.

Vice President CMSgt (Ret) Cary Hatzinger	Responsibilities:  Assumes presidential duties in President’s absence.  Align strategic/operational efforts.  Focusing on strategic direction, provides operational leadership of the Chapter.  Advise/supervises the Executive Council on duties and responsibilities.  Oversees Chapter functions and programs.  Execute any other duties as delegated by the president.

Trustee MSgt Daryl Baldosser	Responsibilities:  Members Bad Addresses  -- Manages chapter’s retention and bad address programs.  Supports Membership Chairman to keep the Chapter President and Vice President informed on membership trends.  Submits monthly report on activities, initiatives and status of membership issues.

Trustee MSgt John M. Carpenter	Responsibilities:  Communication -- Provides information to chapter membership and the public about Chapter and AFSA activities.  Designs, develops, and maintains chapter’s website.  Maintains bulk mailing permit and post office box.  Develops and produces newsletter/initiates contact with installation public affairs office.  Maintains e-mail distribution list.

Senior Advisor CMSgt (Ret) Daniel C. Yeomans	Responsibilities:  The Senior Advisor to the President is an experienced former Chapter President.  As such, he advises the President on all matters pertaining to the strategic leadership, management and administration of functions assigned to the Chapter.  He also advises on strategic alignments between the Chapter and the Division for effectiveness in the achievement of the AFSA mission, vision, and goals.

Membership Chairman  Mr. Robert H. Chapter Secretary TSgt Brooke Pack	Responsibilities:  Responsible for the availability of AFSA Chapter documentation, as well as Executive Council and General Membership meeting minutes.  Maintains Chapter Constitution, By-Laws, Strategic Plan, and directory of Officers.  Serve as the liaison between the Chapter and the installation Private Organization Office.

Chapter Treasurer SMSgt Mark Hammack	Responsibilities:  Tracks/controls chapter financial activities.  Maintains bank account, checkbook/debit cards.  Assists/develops annual budget.  Maintains all tax-exempt status documents.  Provides feedback to the President and Vice President on financial trends and activities.  Ensures required audits are accomplished.  Submits financial reports.

Legislative Chairman SMSgt (Ret) Robert W. Faust	Responsibilities:  Establishes/maintains legislative link between membership and AFSA HQ.  Keeps the Chapter President informed on membership’s views on pending/enacted legislation.  Educate membership about AFSA’s legislative platform.  Submits monthly legislative report to the chapter’s membership.

Airmen Activity Coordinator	Responsibilities:  Disseminates AFSA information/involves Airmen (E1 - E4) on all AFSA activities.  Acquires feedback about Airmen issues/presents topics for planning and action inputs.   Encourages Airmen to take an active role in AFSA/coordinates AFSA-sponsored, Airmen-oriented activities.  Serves as liaison between AFSA Chapter and Airmen organizations on McChord.
